Word Of The Day, Thursday, July 10th, 2014

11 Jul

Sedevacante is the word of the Day of July 10th, 2014.
I met with My Most Dear Friend, a Convert, who is Not into Modernism in One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church. Let me just say that Music written from 1965 onward, causes her to cry out, “What Is This Crap.” I heartily concur with this. Please, what sounded fun at 12 Years Old, is annoying claptrap today at 59 Years Old.
Sede Vacante simply means that the Seat or Office is Vacant. But, there is this belief of Sedevacantism, where the Office of His Holiness, The Pope, has been vacant since the Death of venerable Pope Pius XII in 1958.
As to why interest in this, well MichaelVoris, John Vennari and Christopher Ferrara, are feuding. MichaelVoris used the unendearing term Sedevacantist to deride John Vennari and Christopher Ferrara.

As My Most Dear Friend introduced me to “Ex Opere Operato”, It was my turn to enrich her in Ecclesiastical Vocabulary. She is no ordinary Catholic.
