Tridentine Day Today(Let’s Pray Two)(Byzantine)

12 Oct

Either I head to Holy Innocents on W37th Street near Herald Square or St Agnes on East 43rd Street(Venerable Archbishop Fulton J Sheen Place) in Midtown, both Churches in Manhattan.

I look at Mass on the Weekends as Latin or Byzantine or Both. I find that in the case of The NO Mass that instead of Gregorian Chant, I might end up with Marty Haugen and David Haas Music, dubbed “Gagorian Chant”, which may induce Vomiting.

St. Agnes on East 43rd Street(Venerable Archbishop Fulton J Sheen Place), is a Bus Line away from St. George Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, so today may be a Good Day for a Traditionalist Doubleheader in both the Tridentine and Byzantine Liturgies of The Catholic Church.

Part of The Title, paraphrases that Great Chicago Cubs Shortstop, Baseball Hall of Famer Ernie Banks, when Wrigley Field had no lights and once said “It’s a Good Day for Baseball, Let’s Play Two.”

I may take up this chance today.
