With a few “Adult Beverages”, he will sound like a Jamaican and I don’t mean someone in the New York City Borough of Queens.

The US and Canadian News Media will have to find that Big Seal on this hunt.

So to those using various video broadcasting apps on Smart phones, I call for Residents of Metro Toronto to Find Rob Ford 1st, then live web telecast him in all of his Tomfoolery.

I never knew that The National Hockey League was one of America’s Churches. The “Patriarch” is Jewish from Forest Hills, Queens, NY. 

Like The National Football League, the NHL is a 501(C)6 Non Profit Corporation. The NHL, like the NFL, is headquartered in The Borough of Manhattan, not far from the World of Broadcast Row(The Traditional Broadcast Networks). The NHL worships at the Altar of 30 Rock. The NFL worships at Black Rock, The Old St. Nicholas Arena, 30 Rock & NewsCorp.

“You’re Watching The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation. Thanks A Bunch?” What Are You, A Hoser, Eh?

Thanks a bunch? On CBC? Who at “NBC Saturday Night Live” would come up with a CBC opening unless someone in 30 Rock was smoking crack with Rob Ford, Eh?

OK, the CBC Logo is the Real Logo. With the Logo underlined with CBC Television, now that was really good, eh. But “Thanks A Bunch?” That would get one a verbal “Tar & Feathering” by The Redoubtable Mr Rex Murphy, CBC Resident Curmudgeon. Trust me, after Rex gets done with the Writers, no amount of Screech would relieve the pain of a Rex Rant. Getting ripped “A New One” from North of The Border, is 20X more powerful than being mocked by Howard Stern. Lorne Michaels is Canadian. I think that even he fears being ripped to shreds by Rex.

There is even Rick Mercer of “The Rick Mercer Report” on Tuesday Nights on CBC Television. No “Saturday Night Live” Writer would be able to stomach one of his humorous Rants.

Since Rex & Rick are from Newfoundland, expect some acerbic humour, called Snark. Would Yanks from “NBC Saturday Night Live” be able to handle it?

I doubt it, Eh!

Convention Coverage Ratings

Of the Networks which I am following for the Republican & Democratic Conventions, I have two favorites:
FOX News, which sounds different from CBS, NBC, ABC, CNN, NPR & PBS, & CBCNEWS.
Why CBC?
Well, I often listen to the opinions of a certain, Modern Day William F. Buckley Jr Type named Rex Murphy, as he analyses not only what goes on in Canada, but he is well versed in what goes on here as well. It is good to listen to a perspective from one’s neighboring country.
As for FOX News, Sean Hannity, Bill O’Reilly & Bernard Mc Gurk are favorites of mine, not to mention Native New Yorkers as well.
