Kyrie Elaison.
On the Friday, 23 January, 2015, that Great Shortstop from Mobile, AL, a Mr Ernest Banks, who played from 1952 until 1970 with the Chicago Cubs, then playing in the Only Major League Baseball Edifice minusĀ any Lights, called Wrigley Field on the North Side Of Chicago, passed away at 83.
He was a Shortstop who could slam the Long Ball. And nothing called “The Juice” was ever involved with Ernie. He played 1st Base toward the end of his career.
He was an All Star several times. He never made it to Post Season.
But may He Rest Peacefully.
