Good Homily In Midst Of Culture Shock
27 JunIt was the 13th Sunday In Ordinary Time all over Novus Ordo Land in the (Times New)Roman Rite of The Catholic Church.
Elias followed Eliajah after “Taking Care of Business” at Home.
Jesus asked a few people to come follow Him, but these people wouldn’t because they were attatched to Worldly, not Heavenly Ideas. Sin is often due to The Worldly. Sin is NOT Heavenly. People forget about God & tie themselves to THIS World, which will go away someday.
The Homilist was Deacon Dean Tully at Holy Child Jesus RC Parish in the RC Diocese of Brooklyn.
As for “Culture Shock”, I had been to a Pontifical Tridentine Latin Mass on Saturday Afternoon at Holy Innocents in Midtown Manhattan.
Nevertheless, in both cases, I was fed with The Body of Christ.

The Feast Of St. Mark Evangelist, Russian Easter & Prayers For Michael Voris
27 AprI was at the Missa Solemnes of The Feast Of St Mark Evangelist at HOLY INNOCENTS, last evening.
It was the 6PM Tridentine Latin Mass, which was a Solemn High Mass, with Priest, Deacon & Subdeacon.
For you see, St. Mark Evangelist is one of The 4 Evangelists who wrote Gospels. St. Mark Evangelist established the See & Rite of Alexandria, Egypt in The Catholic Church.
The Celebrant Priest was the Pastor of Holy Innocents, Fr Leonard Villa, assisted by Deacon, who is a Priest of The RC Archdiocese of New York & The Subdeacon was played by Eddy Toribo, who is a Sacristan, who emails me with various Holy Innocents Parish Events.
The Epistle was The Prophet Exichiel:
Four Men become as Eagles, Moved by The Holy Ghost to wherever they are needed.
The Roman Graduale was sung.
The Alleluia was sung.
Eddy Toribo proclaimed in Latin, the Epistle which was Old Teatament.
The Gospel according to St. Luke Evangelist was proclaimed in Latin by The Deacon. This was the Time when Christ commissioned 72 Disciples to go forth and Preach The Good News. Everyone worked in pairs.
The Homily was given by Fr Leonard Villa, who read both the Epistle & Gospel in English & spoke of St. Mark.
Holy Communion is kneeling at a Holy Communion Rail and receiving on one’s tongue from a Priest or Deacon. There is no standing & receiving Christ as if He was a Cocktail Snack.
“Faith Of Our Fathers” was sung as Priest, Deacon & Subdeacon were leaving the Sanctuary.
Prayers were offered for Michael Voris & his Enemies.
Talk took place among Catholic Trads about where to celebrate “Russian Easter.” One woman Trad talked about St. George Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church on East 7th Street in the East Village. This is a Catholic Church of The Ukrainian Greek Catholic Eparchy of Stamford, CT. I have often gone there for the Sunday, 4:00PM Divine Liturgy in English. I just have to find out the Starting Time for The Divine Liturgy. I have to experience this Liturgy. Or I can do this at Holy Cross Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Astoria, Queens. Both are Old Calendar(Julian)Catholic Churches.
By the Way, Fr Villa spoke of “The Old Evangelization. Let’s all share the Faith of The Fathers.

A Conversation With A VORISian NOT
12 MarI had one of those SSPX Conversations in Isaiah Hall at Holy Innocents on W37th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue.
This NOT considers herself to be a Traditionalist Catholic &, yet, relies on information from Michael Voris & ChurchMilitant.com. It only works on occassion at Holy Innocents, but not at St. Agnes on E43rd Street between Lexington & 3rd Avenues, where The President of Una Voce New York, David Lane & Dr. John Rao, are known to “Hold Court” after the Sunday 11:00AM Mass, a place where the mere mention of “Schism Boy Voris” is met with Derision.
But one may get away with The Defence of Schism Boy Voris at Holy Innocents, as many 1st Timers at the Tridentine Latin Mass, head to Holy Innocents, though there are many Subscribers to John Vennari’s Catholic Family News & Michael J. Matt’s The Remnant Newspaper, who are offended by Michael Voris at Holy Innocents.
This nice young woman told me that the SSPX is “In Schism” because Michael Voris had a Big Special about it.
Michael Voris is a News Reporter, formerly from CBS at The Big Warehouse On West 57th Street between 9th & 10th Avenues in Upper Midtown Manhattan. He knows a thing or two about “Slanting The News.”
His “ChurchMilitant.com” gets a LOT of Viewers, many of the Converts to Catholicism. But, Sadly, a Texan with Huge Moolah, who is originally from Long Island’s North Shore, & with Ego to match the money, controls what is said on Programming. The Money Man also dictates who Michael’s(Or Is That Gary’s)Friends may be. The shows on this Channel, reflect the Opinions of The Man with The Money. The Old Programming under a Different Donor, was much better. But, Voris takes his marching orders from The Backers in two different eras. Hey, Cash is Cash.
Voris, quite simply, is a “Hired Gun.” His Ideology is “Whoever Has The Gold, Makes The Rules.” He is no independent. He is OWNED.
Getting back to “The VORISian NOT”, VORISian NOTS listen to everything he says. They rely on Voris for interpretation of Church Documents, such as Sacrosanctum Concilium(The Reform of The Mass, which turns out to be a Blueprint for the Novus Ordo Mass). Voris said that the Novus Ordo Mass was not a product of Vatican II. Yet, the Blueprint came out on December 4th, 1963. It is apparent that Voris never read the Document. Like WHAT GAME ON FOX was Voris watching? Granted the New Mass was rolled out on November 30th, 1969, but the Blueprint is from 1963. The Document had so many holes in it, you could run the IND Subway through it.
The VORISium NOT would not listen to what I had to say. It is as if ChurchMilitant.com & Michael Voris is all that matters.

The Gospels Over 3 Days
7 MarFirst Friday was Novus Ordo, as was Saturday, which is called Saturday of Our Lady. Today is the 1st Sunday. It is also the Fourth Sunday In Lent, called Laetere Sunday, which is a Lenten Sunday of Joy. It means that Easter(Pesach) is Nigh. And I was at St. Agnes on E43rd Street in Midtown Manhattan.
Friday, March 4th at 8:00AM & The Mass Celebrant was the Most Reverend Paul Sanchez, aided by the Pastor Emeritus of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish in Brooklyn, Monsignor Fursey O’Toole, Irish Born.
The Gospel was the Greatest Commandments, both of which summarize the 10 Commandments. As Jesus said “Thou Shalt Love The Lord Thy God, With All Thy Heart, With All Thy Soul, With All Thy Mind & With All Thy Strength. The Second Great Commandment is “Thou Shalt Love Thy Neighbour as Thyself.” An Example of “Love Thy Neighbour” was given at The 12:05PM Mass by Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Administrator, Fr Frank Passenant & it was an Excellent Example. We don’t always look at Our Parents as Neighbours, but they are the Neighbours closest to you. Hey, They’re Neighbours by Blood. Pray For Them, both Living & Dead.
First Saturday at the 12:05PM Mass was offered by Fr Frank Passenant. This is the Story in The Gospel of The Pharisee & The Publican. The Pharisees were the Learned Religious Men. They were The Priestly Class of Judaism. But, they were NOT always known for their Humility. Everything was OUTWARD, but not always INTERIOR.
Publican is a Nice Name for The Most Hated of Roman Officials, namely The Tax Collector. Many of these Men were conmen, often taking more than what was due. For the Tax Collector was one who often lived like a Fat Cat. For he was a Private Contractor for the Roman Empire, who often took Liberties beyond what was due. And One of The Original 12 Apostles, Matthew, was originally a Tax Collector. He was also one of The 4 Evangelists in The Writing of The Gospels.
In this Gospel, The Pharisee is, in his Prayer to The Lord, bragging about how good he is, while degrading others such as Publicans. This guy was there to be seen, like close to The Sanctuary, practically telling The Lord that his “Excrement doesn’t have a foul odor.”
What A Schmuck!
Meanwhile, The Sinful Publican, barely able to raise his eyes Heavenward, who was all the way in the rear of The Temple, actually recognized the fact that he was a Sinner, & begged The Lord in this manner, “Lord, Be Merciful To Me For I Am A Sinner.”
The Publican received God’s Mercy. The Pharisee only got the Admiration of Man.
For Today on Lautare Sunday, as this is the Sunday indicating, that The Joy of Easter is Near, hence Vestments in the Bright Colour of Pink, Today’s Gospel for The Tridentine Latin Mass is The Miracle of The Loaves Of Bread & Fish. It was only 5 Loaves of Bread and 2 Fish, yet there was enough left over to fill 12 Baskets. There were 5,000 Men who were fed. This was The Miracle of The Loaves & Fish, and Jesus Multiplied the Loaves & Fish. No one left hungry.

It is in Tridentine Latin Mass Calendar Country, where one will find the Great Eastern Catholic Heirachial Saints being honoured.
I know that you may think of St. John Chrysostom as a Heirarch Saint of Eastern Orthodoxy, particularly Greek Orthodox Churches, but he is a CATHOLIC Saint, Bishop, Confessor & Doctor of The Church. He was Archbishop of Constantinople, in short, Patriarch of Constantinople, in the time of One, Holy, Catholic & Apostolic Church. He is Patron Saint of Orators & Preachers. He was at war with Heretics called Arians. Arians believed the Heretical Teachings of a Priest called Arius, who taught that Jesus Christ was a Super Perfect Man, but NOT GOD.
He was a Student of St
Basil The Great(Bishop, Martyr, Confessor & Doctor Of The Church).
St. John Chrysostom did much anslysis of the Gospels and gave great commentary.
He was a True Reformer of The Catholic Liturgy. With the Epistle, Gradual, Alleluia & Gospel, it became the Practice of The Eastern Catholic Churches & eventually the Latin Church.Since the Liturgy was about the Re-presentation of Christ’s Sacrifice on The Cross, St. John Chrysostom wrote an Anaphora & added the Prayer Response from a New Testament Codex “For Thine is The Kingdom, The Power & The Glory, Father, Son & Holy Spirit, Now & Ever & Forever”, which is the Doxology of The “Our Father”, chanted by the Priest. It is also chanted by the Priest in an earlier part of The Divine Liturgy.
But, his orations of The Gospel & Homilies are what he was known for, as well as certain short statements attributed to him. He is quoted 18 Times in “The Catechism Of The Catholic Church.”
There is more to The Catholic Church than just the Latin(Roman) Church. Learn the Eastern Catholic Churches & you will truly learn about The Church which Christ Founded.

The Feast Of The Circumcision & Cute Novus Ordo Baby Pictures
2 JanToday, MTA NYC Transit did not fail me, as I was at St. Agnes on E43rd Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, with the United Nations only 3 Blocks away. And there was a Missa Cantata at 11:00AM. Michael Voris, SSPX SCHISM BOY, was NOWHERE to be seen.
It was a Short Gospel. It was a Well Sung Mass. Some of The Regulars were missing.
A number had gone the prior evening to Dr John Rao’s Party in Greenwich Village.
And Father told us “Merry Christmas”, as January 1st is the 8th Day of The Christmas Octave, which is WHY it is a Holy Day of Obligation. In The Tridentine Latin Mass Calendar, Christmas Cycle ends on February 2nd on Candlemas Day, known as The Feast of The Presentation of The Child Jesus In The Temple, and that Sundays After Epiphany are part of The Christmas Cycle.
Happy Christmas Cycle, even though The Novus Ordo Mass Calendar says “Ordinary Time”, which is so Generic.
After Mass, I saw some cute Baby Cards with funny captions. One caption stood out, in regards to The Novus Ordo Mass. It read “I can’t think-The Priest keeps looking out at me.”

End Year “Thanks” To MTLOA- NOT
1 JanMTLOA is the Metropolitan Transportation Lack Of Authority. This applies whenever MTA NYC Transit’s Subways are run, irresponsibly. Like the Suprise Rerouting of an E Express Train at Roosevelt Avenue, without announcing it, adding 25 Minutes to the trip, DURING RUSH HOUR.
I would have been 15 Minutes Early for a very Faith Filled New Years Eve at St. George Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in the East Village on E.7th Street in Manhattan, beginning with The Byzantine Rite Catholic Divine Liturgy Of St Basil The Great. Instead, without announcing anything, the E Express Train starts running via the R Local Tracks, making all Local Stops into East 53rd Street & Lexington Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, adding 25 Minutes to my trip, IN RUSH HOUR.
Yet, as I made it to my Moose Lodge in Maspeth, Queens to cool my heels & head, the R Train ran Express on the Local Tracks to Woodhaven Blvd & 59th Avenue, where I caught an uncrowded Q59 Bus. But, after 2016 Rolls in, I will journey to the 6:00AM Divine Liturgy Of St John Chrysostom at St. George Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. This way, I will open 2016 Byzantine Rite Style. I just want to do it differently & head to a Latin Rite Mass, probably at St. Agnes on East 43rd Street.
After all this, I will need a Good Rest, away from all this.

“Independent Catholic Media? Seriously?”
8 JanI went over to churchmilitant.com & on there, a Video from “The Marian Catholic”, hosted by one Christopher McCarthy, was playing about the need for “Independent Catholic Media.” McCarthy even spins the Pencil like Michael Voris when the 1st Pot Shot was fired. It was so blatant, it was as if Mr Voris had copied the script from the..ahem.. “Executive Producer”(The Big Cheque Writer in Texas), & sent along to Christopher to use on his program.
Dr John Rao is RIGHT when he said one Sunday after The 11:00AM Tridentine Latin Mass at St Agnes on E43rd Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, that “Voris Hates Us(The Remnant).” Now Mr Voris is using Kids to attack Traditional Roman Catholic Media.
McCarthy attacked The Remnant as an outlet, leading people into Schism, while calling ChurchMilitant.com, the ONLY outlet defending the Fullness of Catholic Truth. Like when did your channel become a Mouthpiece for “The Vortex, Where Truth & Orthodoxy is Deleted?
Like I always ask, WHAT GAME ON FOX ARE YOU WATCHING? You sound like a Susidiary of Voris’ Cheque Writer.
You must be subsidized by “The Cheque Writer.” Why else do you sound like The Man With The Pompadour. Your Silence about this pontificate, like your Master’s Silence, is deafening.
You’re The Son that Michael Voris never had.
