Good Homily In Midst Of Culture Shock

It was the 13th Sunday In Ordinary Time all over Novus Ordo Land in the (Times New)Roman Rite of The Catholic Church.
Elias followed Eliajah after “Taking Care of Business” at Home.

Jesus asked a few people to come follow Him, but these people wouldn’t because they were attatched to Worldly, not Heavenly Ideas. Sin is often due to The Worldly. Sin is NOT Heavenly. People forget about God & tie themselves to THIS World, which will go away someday.

As for “Culture Shock”, I had been to a Pontifical Tridentine Latin Mass on Saturday Afternoon at Holy Innocents in Midtown Manhattan.
Nevertheless, in both cases, I was fed with The Body of Christ.

Three Miracles On The 10th Sunday of Ordinary Time(2nd Sunday After Pentecost)

It was in the Old Testament Reading where The Prophet Elias(Elijah) came into a house where a widow’s young child had died.
He took the child into an upstairs room, put the child on a bed & put his body over the child Three Times. The child came back to life.
In The Gospel according to St Luke, the son of a Widow had died. Jesus came into the house and raised up the son.
Both are Miracles. Both prefigure the Death and Resurrection of Jesus. Mother Mary Theotokos was also a Widow.
The Third Miracle occurs at EVERY Catholic Liturgy in The World, as the Offered Bread and Wine becomes The Body & Blood, Soul & Divinity, through the action of The Priest, acting in Christ’s Person as an Alter Christus. This does NOT occur in most Protestant Ecclesiastical Communities because most of these Communities have no VALIDLY Ordained Priesthood.

Kneeling For Communion A Mano-A NOvelty

NO is shorthand for Novus Ordo, as in the so called Ordinary Form of The Mass of The Roman/Latin Rite. The Letters “NO” are the 1st two letters of the word “Novelty.” So called “Inculturation” is a form of Novelty.
In a place where I would go for The Tridentine Latin Mass, St. Agnes on East 43rd Street in Manhattan, I went to the 5:15PM Novus Ordo Mass, where the Propers & Prayers were sung.
At Holy Communion, a number of people are known for heading to the Altar Rail to kneel to receive Holy Communion.
I knelt for Holy Communion & received on the Tongue. But I also noticed something rather weird.
This I noticed as a Novelty. It was kneeling for Holy Communion & still receiving Christ in the Hand. People who stand usually do this, but while kneeling at the Altar Rail?
From here on in at St. Agnes, it will be Tridentine Latin Mass only. I don’t want Novelty at the Communion Rail.

1st Holy Communion & Bad Music

There is SOMETHING To be said for SILENCE. The Tridentine Latin Mass & the Byzantine Rite Catholic Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom(Bishop, Confessor, Doctor of The Church), both experience this at Holy Communion. Not so in Novus Ordo Land, as “Music” of what My Most Dear Friend calls “Vomit, Barf, Puke & S–t”, warbles over the Wurlitzer Organ. It is the type of Liturgical Music, which can be considered to be Torture by The Geneva Convention & The Canadian Human Rights Commission, as well as unsuitable for use as theme music for assorted Television Series on CBC in Canada. CBC’s Resident Curmudgeon, The Redoubtable Rex Murphy, would call this Gaggle “The Utter Disonance of Trite Tripe, with the Ability to cause massive intestinal distress.”
No Doubt that Peter Mansbridge would concur.
Ever since the Seeming End of the Tridentine Era & Coming of The Novus Ordo Era, the Emphasis is on Meal instead of The Sacrifice. And the Music is written to express the Nouvelle Theologie of a Protestant Friendly Liturgy called The Mass.
Opening a 1st Holy Communion Mass with a Sure Fire Schutte Song(Hymns Are Sung TO God), “Table Of Plenty”, which would cause Fits to both Tridentine Latin Mass Attendees as well as for Catholics of The Eastern Catholic Churches, is a Horizontal Song. One is never supposed to sing the Part of The Christ unless one is a Bishop, Priest or Deacon.
As the Doctrine of The Body & Blood of Christ is The Doctrine of Holy Communion, WHY is this Song played, as it virtually infers a Pizza Party? Because, ever since the Second Vatican Ecumenical Council(V II), the emphasis became Meal Oriented, in the Name of False Ecumenism, which Protestants proclaim since the Time of Martin Luther & Ulrich Zwingli, both Apostate Catholic Priests, who were both Excommunicated for Heresy & Apostasy.
Almost 50 Years have passed since Benedictine Archabbot Rembert Weakland, with a couple of Revolutionaries, brought into being the Utterly Nauseating “Folk Mass”, strummed on Guitars, replete with Music With Absolutely No Majesty. I call it “106.7 Lite FM.” This occurred While The Tridentine Form of Mass was still in effect in October of 1967. Archabbot Weakland was later named Archbishop of Milwaukee, WI. He discovered a slew of Loopholes in the V II Modernist Document, “Sacrosanctum Concillium”, Fr Annibale Bugnini’s Blueprint for a Protestant Friendly Liturgy called The Novus Ordo Mass. A sure sign of Change would be the Playing & Singing of “Bread Songs.”
At the(Stripped Down) Offertory, there is what is called “The Presentation Of The Gifts”, which is merely transferring the Bread & Wine to The Priest, so that the Priest will offer up the Bread & Wine & later consecrate it into The Body & Blood of Christ.
The “Offertory Song” is a Folk Mass “Classic”, as it almost 50 Years Old, called “Take Our Bread.” The way that song comes out, it treats The Most Holy Sacrament of The Altar, as if it was a Campfire Sing Along about a Meal. Instead of being played on Guitars, the Organ was used.
This was at a Queens Parish in the RC Diocese of Brooklyn, not in Canada.
One wonders how the Children were trained on how to receive Holy Communion. This being the USA, it most likely was in the hand. In my time, in 1962, ONLY the Priest could even touch The Body & Blood of Christ. Hey, his hands, as he acts “In Persona Christi” are consecrated. Ours are NOT.
At Communion Time, “One Bread, One Body”, as part of “The Bread Songfest” was sung.
A “We Are” Song called “We Are Many Parts”(Totally Unknown to me, but is part of “The We Are Songfest of 2016”) was sung. It is a Song where we tell God how good we are, then ask God for “The Spirit Of Love.”

And My Most Dear Friend would have been Utterly Enraged by the Musical Selection, calling for the Starvation of The Music Director. She would have to include the “Liturgy Committee” for such Musical Selection.
It is as if The Liturgy has done a 180° Turn, with Man worshipping himself, forgetting who put Man there.
Keep this up like this and The Triune Lord will send Man something Man will NEVER Forget & it will NOT be a Pretty Sight.

A Conversation With A VORISian NOT

I had one of those SSPX Conversations in Isaiah Hall at Holy Innocents on W37th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue.
This NOT considers herself to be a Traditionalist Catholic &, yet, relies on information from Michael Voris & ChurchMilitant.com. It only works on occassion at Holy Innocents, but not at St. Agnes on E43rd Street between Lexington & 3rd Avenues, where The President of Una Voce New York, David Lane & Dr. John Rao, are known to “Hold Court” after the Sunday 11:00AM Mass, a place where the mere mention of “Schism Boy Voris” is met with Derision.
But one may get away with The Defence of Schism Boy Voris at Holy Innocents, as many 1st Timers at the Tridentine Latin Mass, head to Holy Innocents, though there are many Subscribers to John Vennari’s Catholic Family News & Michael J. Matt’s The Remnant Newspaper, who are offended by Michael Voris at Holy Innocents.
This nice young woman told me that the SSPX is “In Schism” because Michael Voris had a Big Special about it.

Michael Voris is a News Reporter, formerly from CBS at The Big Warehouse On West 57th Street between 9th & 10th Avenues in Upper Midtown Manhattan. He knows a thing or two about “Slanting The News.”
His “ChurchMilitant.com” gets a LOT of Viewers, many of the Converts to Catholicism. But, Sadly, a Texan with Huge Moolah, who is originally from Long Island’s North Shore, & with Ego to match the money, controls what is said on Programming. The Money Man also dictates who Michael’s(Or Is That Gary’s)Friends may be. The shows on this Channel, reflect the Opinions of The Man with The Money. The Old Programming under a Different Donor, was much better. But, Voris takes his marching orders from The Backers in two different eras. Hey, Cash is Cash.

Voris, quite simply, is a “Hired Gun.” His Ideology is “Whoever Has The Gold, Makes The Rules.” He is no independent. He is OWNED.

Getting back to “The VORISian NOT”, VORISian NOTS listen to everything he says. They rely on Voris for interpretation of Church Documents, such as Sacrosanctum Concilium(The Reform of The Mass, which turns out to be a Blueprint for the Novus Ordo Mass). Voris said that the Novus Ordo Mass was not a product of Vatican II. Yet, the Blueprint came out on December 4th, 1963. It is apparent that Voris never read the Document. Like WHAT GAME ON FOX was Voris watching? Granted the New Mass was rolled out on November 30th, 1969, but the Blueprint is from 1963. The Document had so many holes in it, you could run the IND Subway through it.
The VORISium NOT would not listen to what I had to say. It is as if ChurchMilitant.com & Michael Voris is all that matters.

The Gospels Over 3 Days

First Friday was Novus Ordo, as was Saturday, which is called Saturday of Our Lady. Today is the 1st Sunday. It is also the Fourth Sunday In Lent, called Laetere Sunday, which is a Lenten Sunday of Joy. It means that Easter(Pesach) is Nigh. And I was at St. Agnes on E43rd Street in Midtown Manhattan.
Friday, March 4th at 8:00AM & The Mass Celebrant was the Most Reverend Paul Sanchez, aided by the Pastor Emeritus of St. Vincent Ferrer Parish in Brooklyn, Monsignor Fursey O’Toole, Irish Born.
The Gospel was the Greatest Commandments, both of which summarize the 10 Commandments. As Jesus said “Thou Shalt Love The Lord Thy God, With All Thy Heart, With All Thy Soul, With All Thy Mind & With All Thy Strength. The Second Great Commandment is “Thou Shalt Love Thy Neighbour as Thyself.” An Example of “Love Thy Neighbour” was given at The 12:05PM Mass by Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Administrator, Fr Frank Passenant & it was an Excellent Example. We don’t always look at Our Parents as Neighbours, but they are the Neighbours closest to you. Hey, They’re Neighbours by Blood. Pray For Them, both Living & Dead.
First Saturday at the 12:05PM Mass was offered by Fr Frank Passenant. This is the Story in The Gospel of The Pharisee & The Publican. The Pharisees were the Learned Religious Men. They were The Priestly Class of Judaism. But, they were NOT always known for their Humility. Everything was OUTWARD, but not always INTERIOR.
Publican is a Nice Name for The Most Hated of Roman Officials, namely The Tax Collector. Many of these Men were conmen, often taking more than what was due. For the Tax Collector was one who often lived like a Fat Cat. For he was a Private Contractor for the Roman Empire, who often took Liberties beyond what was due. And One of The Original 12 Apostles, Matthew, was originally a Tax Collector. He was also one of The 4 Evangelists in The Writing of The Gospels.
In this Gospel, The Pharisee is, in his Prayer to The Lord, bragging about how good he is, while degrading others such as Publicans. This guy was there to be seen, like close to The Sanctuary, practically telling The Lord that his “Excrement doesn’t have a foul odor.”
What A Schmuck!
Meanwhile, The Sinful Publican, barely able to raise his eyes Heavenward, who was all the way in the rear of The Temple, actually recognized the fact that he was a Sinner, & begged The Lord in this manner, “Lord, Be Merciful To Me For I Am A Sinner.”
The Publican received God’s Mercy. The Pharisee only got the Admiration of Man.
For Today on Lautare Sunday, as this is the Sunday indicating, that The Joy of Easter is Near, hence Vestments in the Bright Colour of Pink, Today’s Gospel for The Tridentine Latin Mass is The Miracle of The Loaves Of Bread & Fish. It was only 5 Loaves of Bread and 2 Fish, yet there was enough left over to fill 12 Baskets. There were 5,000 Men who were fed. This was The Miracle of The Loaves & Fish, and Jesus Multiplied the Loaves & Fish. No one left hungry.

What Is It With Modernists That They HATE Faith & Beauty?

Guess What-The Day of Candy & Cards, being so Secular today, is on the Tridentine Latin Mass Calendar, a Beautiful Saint’s Day, honouring a Man, both a Physician & Catholic Priest.
The Date is February 14th & it honours a Martyr.
Through him from God, a girl named Julia received her Sight for she had been blind since birth.
The Saint’s Name is Valentinus(Valentine), an Ancient Saint of The Catholic Church.
But, in anticipation of The Novus Ordo Mass, a New Calendar was drawn up, derived from the Presbyterian & Reformed Calendars, in the name of The “False Ecumenism”, which plagues the Post Vatican II Church of Today.
The “Reason” given was that Valentinus was a legend. To The Modernists, it’s good for “Ecumenism.” To me, it’s a Crock of BS. Saint Valentine’s Day has been celebrated with Joy & Reverence for many centuries. A Priest who officiated The Sacrament of Matrimony in hiding away from Roman Emperor Claudius The Brutal, risked Death. 
This discontinuation on the New Calendar
Was ordered in 1967, for the Novus Ordo Calendar, which began to occur on November 30th, 1969.
And yet, though no longer on the current Church Calendar, St. Valentine’s Day is celebrated, albeit a Secular Humanist Celebration.
And, knowing today’s Novus Ordo Catholic Church, probably no Catholic School Student would even have suspected that This Saint & Martyr, ever existed.

The Supposed “Star Wars” Version of The Novus Ordo Mass, was actually just a simple “Family Mass”, offered in the Mill Basin Section of The Borough of Brooklyn at St. Bernard of Clairveux, where Msgr Jamie Gigantiello is Pastor.
From Info supplied from Mill Basin, next door to Marine Park, an area which uses the Flatbush Street System, as in East 69th Street, close to Flatbush Avenue, located near the Kings Plaza Shopping Centre, This “Star Wars Mass”, was not the actual Liturgy itself, but a Themed Party afterwards.
However, NO ONE, But the Priest(s), Deacon(s), Acolytes, Lectors & Servers should be in The Sanctuary, where The Holy Sacrifice Of The Mass occurs. This is Sacred Territory. I believe that Liturgical Law covers this.

Deacon Greg Kandra, in the comboxes of The Lepanto Institute, advised people to not jump to conclusions, ONLY to have the OMNIPOTENT(At Least He Thinks He Is)Host & Lead Producer of ChurchMilitant.com, Michael Voris, whose style is that of a Reality TV Talk Show Host(Think Jerry Springer, who grew up about a half mile from where I am in Queens), & often, Historically Inaccurate. The Roman Latin Church is in a Diocese called Brooklyn and the counties of Kings & Queens are covered by the RC Diocese Of Brooklyn. While The Metropolitan of The New York Province is Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan, he is NOT The Ordinary of The RC Diocese Of Brooklyn. The Ordinary means the Bishop who has jurisdiction in his Diocese & as Ordinary, ordains Deacons & Priests under the Jurisdiction. He is the Primary Teacher of Faith in his Diocese, just as Cardinal Dolan has jurisdiction over the Boroughs of Manhattan, Bronx & Staten Island, as well as Counties North of NYC, such as Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, Orange, Ulster & Sullivan Counties.
New York City, like London & Rome, have more than One Diocese in the City. New York City is NOT exclusively MANHATTAN ISLAND. My(Brooklyn) Diocesan Bishop is the Most Reverend Nicholas Di Marzio(Who originally comes from Newark, NJ, a part of The New York-New Jersey-Connecticut Metropolitan Area).

Do NOT Blame Cardinal Dolan for everything which goes on in The 5 Boroughs. Only Three Boroughs are his Jurisdiction. The Matter of “The Star Wars Mess” is in the RC Diocese Of Brooklyn. This Farce is between Msgr Jamie Gigantiello, the Vicar For Development for The RC Diocese Of Brooklyn, as well as Pastor of St Bernard’s in Mill Basin, Brooklyn & The Most Reverend Nicholas Di Marzio.

The Reason I am saying Mess instead of Mass, is that The Mass is the Unbloody Re-presentation of The Sacrifice on Calvary, and it would hard to see this in this Elaborate Entertainment Spectacle. It reminds me of The NHL Joke of The 1970s, “I went to a Boxing Match & a Hockey Game broke out.” And one wonders if there was even a Valid Consecration in this Melee in Brooklyn. For Tears began streaming at the start of Prayers at the 11:00AM Tridentine Latin Mass at St Agnes on E43rd Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. And it doubles my resolve to see to it that The Novus Ordo Mass be consigned to The Dustbin of History.

“The Blasphemous Sacrilege Of A Novus Ordo Mess In Brooklyn”

In the Parish where a Mr Jimmy Kimmel was Christened, namely St. Bernard Of Clarveux in the Mill Basin Section of Brooklyn, what I believe to be a Most Sacreligious Act is to occur on this Sunday, January 31st, 2016 @ 11:30AM EST.
The “Star Wars Mess” has arrived in Mill Basin, Brooklyn, of all Places. I might have expected this in Park Slope, Brooklyn or Jackson Heights, in Queens, home of People who may be covered under the 2014 Synod Of Bishops(Synod of Doom as Mr Ferrara puts it). But Mill Basin, next to Marine Park? WHAT?

For I was at The Tridentine Latin Mass at St. Agnes on E43rd Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. As Mass on Sextagesima Sunday began, as a Preparation for Lent as the Easter Cycle began last Sunday with Septuagesima Sunday, Tears streamed out of my eyes while thinking about The Blasphemous Sacrilege Of The Novus Ordo Mess In Brooklyn.

Above is the Beautiful Altar of St. Agnes on E43rd Street. Here we kneel for Holy Communion & receive The Body Of Christ on the Tongue. The Only Ministers Of Holy Communion are Priests and Deacons.
While it may not be the High Altar of Holy Innocents on W37th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue, this Parish was the Original Indult Tridentine Latin Mass Parish in the RC Archdiocese of New York. It is also known as the Parish where “Life Is Worth Living”, Hosted by Venerable Archbishop Fulton J Sheen, often originated from. Also, certain EWTN Programming with Fr George Rutler, originated from St. Agnes. Mum was baptised here in 1921. Noted History Professor & Remnant Writer, Dr. John Rao & The President of The Latin Mass Society Of New York, Mr David Lane, were at the Tridentine Latin Mass at St. Agnes. They were duly Notified of The Blaphemous Mess in Brooklyn.

Msgr Jamie Gigantiello, who is both the Brooklyn Diocesan Vicar For Development & Pastor of St. Bernard’s in Mill Basin, Brooklyn, reportedly will “Preside” at this “Mess.”

Like what kind of Attention are you looking for, Msgr? Louie Verrecchio’s akacatholic.com was not kindly in the least about this. Meanwhile, you are getting “Ripped a New One” by Michael Voris & his Trusty Band of “Cub Reporters”, who operate from the “Warehouse In Detroit”, aka “ChurchMilitant.com.” Just ask Cardinal Dolan just how many times Voris has “Ripped him a New One.”

In fact, Msgr, you should try something RADICAL at the next Family Mass. Like try something TRADITIONAL. The crowds will come. Large Families will come to that Mass.
It is called The Tridentine Latin Mass. And People, for once will be fed “Bread Instead Of Stones.”
