I Viewed The FOX Sports World Series Game 5 Feed On Canal 6 Nicaragua

It is part of State Owned Television in Nicaragua & they carried the FOX Sports Video Feed.
I viewed parts of the game on Ustream on my Mobile Smartphone. The T-Mobile Coverage in 4G LTE is quite good here in Queens. T-Mobile was the Prime Sponsor of The World Series on FOX.
And to think back to 1998, when OMNIPOINT, now a wholly owned subsidiary of T-Mobile, was a Prime Sponsor of The NY Mets on Television and at Shea Stadium, and MetroPCS as Radio Sponsor of NY Mets Games on WFAN, I have used T-Mobile for a good part of 17 Years.
Thanks T-Mobile, and Ustream for bringing me MLB Postseason in a way which I could never have imagined.

The NY Mets Actually Had The Worst Record Of The 5 NL Playoff Teams

But they are a young team and a possible winner over the Next Few Years, provided that Jeffy The Rocket Scientist doesn’t start acting like he is the General Manager.
At 90-72, the Team gave its Fans a pleasant surprise this year including an 11 Game Winning Streak to begin the Season.
The Team is young yet. Give them time. The Ship will Right Itself.(That Is IF, & I mean IF Jeffy Wilpon doesn’t get in The Way.

The KC Royals Waited 30 Years To their World Series Championship, hence, after the Experience of Last Year’s World Series, it gave them a tremendous leg up in this series. Hence, Quite Well Done on Monday, November 2nd, 2015, so Congratulations.

All Saints Day Tridentine Latin Mass & A “Marathon”

As My Most Dear Friend says, to which I heartily concur, the Liturgical Muzak at the Missa Novus Ordo, is Treacly and “Does NOT Draw In.” And so, as I make my journey via the IND Queens Blvd 6th Avenue F Train, running as a Local, I am making my way to Holy Innocents RC Church in Midtown Manhattan on West 37th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue, in order to avoid the Treacly Musical Creature called “Pukeasaurus Rex.” “Table Of Plenty” does not cut it, in English, nor Latin, as it is “Pure Schutte”, as in a former member of the St. Louis Jesuits, writers of Treacly Muzak, which could lead to rather lengthy queues at Parish Vomitaria, with varying waiting times.
After Mets 2nd Baseman Dan Murphy’s Imitation of Red Sox 1st Baseman Bill Buckner at Citi Field in Game 4 of the 2015 World Series, queues at the Citi Field Vomitariums were lengthy. Buckner at least had a major excuse, in that he was injured. Murphy realized that he is a Free Agent, and may have been careless. Cespides is an oversized Bobby Bonilla Type with little Mobility.
So hence I headed to Holy Innocents & heard Mass in Latin. The Epistle was from The Apocalypse According To St. John Apostle. The Gospel According to St. Matthew was The Beatitudes. Fr Leonard Villa, Pastor, offered the Mass.
As FOX Sports has a Super Day of Sports on the Schedule, with an NFL Game in London, UK at 9:30AM EST(The Clocks Went back an hour), at 1PM with the NY Football Giants & 4:15PM with Dallas, followed by Game 5 of the 2015 World Series between the NY Mets & KC Royals from Citi Field in Corona, Queens, beginning at 8PM Eastern, it will be a long haul for FOX Sports. As this is the 1st Sunday in November, ESPN is carrying the NYC Marathon at 10AM EST.

At 10:30AM EST, an Ecclesiastical Marathon occurred at Holy Innocents RC Church in Midtown Manhattan on West 37th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue, as it was The Tridentine Latin Mass for All Saints Day, lasting from 10:30AM to 12Noon, The Angelus in English, followed by a Coffee Hour which stretched until 2:30PM, followed by The Rosary(In English), Vespers for All Saints Day(Latin), and Vespers For All Souls Day in Latin.
Yes, The Race was long, but I am glad to have completed it. And I am Tired.

Missa Requiem Et Metropolitanus Novi Eboraci

I headed via IND E Train to 5th Avenue East 53rd Street to switch to the M Train to W34th Street 6th Avenue, so to go to a Rare Tridentine Missa Pro Defunctis, where the Priest, Deacon & Subdeacon are vested in Black Vestments.
This is a Requiem Mass(You Remember Requiem Masses), not a cheery celebration of a Man’s or Woman’s Life. For the Missa Novus Ordo is Too Humanistic.
Pro Defunctis means “For The Dead”, not “Pro Metropolitanus”(For The NY Mets, Who Defeated the KC Royals at Citi Field 9-3).
The Priest of The RC Archdiocese of New York, offered the Mass alone with Two Servers, both Males, as this is ALWAYS the case at the Tridentine Latin Mass. It was that Great Eastern Catholic Patriarch, St. John Chrysostom, Patriarch of Constantinople, who coined this Gem which applies here:
“Is It Tradition? Ask No More.”

For The Soul Of The Faithful Departed, whether a Member of “Ecclesia Triumphante”(In Paradisium), or “Ecclesia Purgatorio”(The Church Suffering), The Prayer of One, Holy, Catholic & Apostolic, is of Fervent Supplication with the Chanting of Litanies, between The Epistle & Gospel. Those Living(Ecclesia Militante or Church Militant), are in Prayer & awed by This Litany. There are NO Guitarists singing a Responsorial Psalm, nor that Novus Ordo “Favorite”, “On Eagles Wings.”

At the end of The Last Gospel(The Incarnation), Father spoke of Our Relationship with God, coming via The Sacraments. He spoke in terms of Sunday’s NYC Marathon.
The Winners Finish The Race, and then they go to the Sidelines to root for the others to finish the race.
The Winners ARE “The Church Triumphant.”
We are NOT in This ALONE. It is NOT merely “Christ Is My Personal Savior”. We must Support One Another to The Ultimate Prize.

Metropolitanus Novi Eboraci Members did that Last Night. David Wright & Curtis Granderson built up and gave this support to The Team. And so did Fanaticae Metropolitanus build up their team, last night.

He Directs The Big Game & Now He’s Seriously Ill

Unlike much of Red Sox Nation, I grew up hating the NY Yankees like you do, but I grew up in Brooklyn.
And there was a great place to hate the Yankees, namely WOR TV Channel 9, then NOT the Property of The FOX Broadcasting Company.
And in 1970, a new Television Director painted the word picture on Channel 9. His name is Bill Webb. I was in my Middle Teens then.
People who Bill Webb has directed on Baseball Telecasts since 1970:

Watching FOX Sports FS 1 Telecast of Toronto Kansas City, via carriage on SPN(Canada), over Ustream.tv “On The Mobile”, to quote Peter Mansbridge. And calling the Plays is Joe Buck.

“He’d Like to have that back” & “Back at The Wall” are Classic Joe Buck calls in Baseball. The ONLY Thing missing is Tim Mc Carver. They played off each other well.

Kansas City 4 Toronto 3 with The Royals Facing The Mets in the 1st Ever All Expansion Team World Series, eh.

A Potential World Series In Common

The NY Mets & Toronto Blue Jays have a Couple of Things in common:
One is that both clubs are Expansion Teams, with The Mets beginning play in 1962 & The Blue Jays in 1977.
The Other thing in common is the Services of One Ronald Wesley Taylor, Canadian.
For in 1969, Game Two, Ronald Wesley Taylor saved Game Two of the 1969 World Series for NY Mets Pitcher Jerry Koosman.
Today, Toronto’s Team Physician is Ronald Wesley Taylor, MD.

Paul Andre Durocher Inspired My Latest Passion Pour Baseballe

French Canadian Archbishop Paul Andre Durocher is the Bishop who called for Female Deacons in The Catholic Church. If the Russian Orthodox Churches can have them, Durocher says, as if he was Curt Schilling, “Why Not Us”(2004 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox).

My smart alecky comment of The Day in regards to “The Synod Of Doom(Credit Christopher Ferrara for this appropriate title)”, is “Throw Durocher Out.”

Only, that back in Brooklyn, NY, Durocher was NOT pronounced “Du Roe Shea”, but as “Daroshuh” and THAT Durocher was the Legendary Manager with the 1st Name of Leo, a Man of Considerable Ill Temperment, who had a Talent as Manager of the Brooklyn Dodgers, NY Giants, Chicago Cubs, & at the back end of his career, the Houston Astros, of arguing with Umpires & getting kicked out of Ballgames. He did manage the Brooklyn Dodgers to a couple of National League Pennants & the NY Giants to a couple of NL Pennants, including the 1954 World Series Championship, taking the Cleveland Indians in 4 Straight Games.

So, in between Catholic Church Articles, some Baseball will appear here. It has to. The NY Mets are now in the NL Championship Series. And they are facing the Chicago Cubs, who were once managed by Leo Durocher.

The NY Mets Are Taking NYC Back From The NY Yankees

A: It Is About Time;
B: Postseason continues On TBS At 7:30PM ET At Citi Field vs the Chicago CubsOn Saturday.
C: The NY Yankees are 1 & DONE.

Two Ex Phillies, Chase Utley & Jimmy Rollins are DONE. They are LA Dodgers Now. Both went down at the hands of Jeurys Familia, who recorded the 1st 6 Out Save since Jesse Orosco did that in Game 7 of the 1986 World Series. In fact, Familia reacted the same way as Orosco.

Daniel Murphy went from 1st to 3rd on a Walk. He scored on a Sac Fly. Daniel Murphy also Homered.

Travis D’Arnaud hit the Sac Fly to tie the Game.

One could see Larry King behind Home Plate at this game in Dodger Stadium. Larry goes all the way back to Ebbets Field. Larry is originally from Brooklyn. And he either rode the BMT Brighton Line to Prospect Park or took the Trolley to Ebbets Field. Larry lives in The LA Area.

Looks like the old Los Angeles Raiders Fans will moan for awhile. Hey, a few of their # have been the cause of extreme violence at Chavez Ravine. You deserve it for being such a–h-l-s.
