I may be from The Roman/Latin Rite of One, Holy Catholic & Apostolic Church, but, Any Time I have attended a Byzantine Rite Catholic Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom(Doctor of The Church), I am INTENSELY Moved.
EWTN carried this Broadcast of The Byzantine Rite Catholic Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom(Bishop, Confessor & Doctor Of The Church) as part of The 133rd Supreme Convention of The Knights Of Columbus from Philadelphia, PA. The Prime Celebrant was Ukrainian Greek Catholic Archbishop Stefan Soroka of the Archeparchy of Philadelphia. There were many Priests, both Ukrainian and Latin Rite.
This is a Catholic Liturgy which I am most familiar with. Add The Knights of Columbus 4th Degree Honour Guard, and this becomes so solemn. Let me say that, while it is sung in English, with some Old Slavonic & Ukrainian added, it has more of The Feel of The Tridentine Latin Mass, as The Priest faces Eastward.
During The Prayer For Fervent Supplication, I was moved so Deeply, that I was crying, for it was a Prayer calling for the Beatification of Venerable Fr Michael J. Mc Givney, Founder of The Knights Of Columbus. This was before the Nicene Creed.
Great Choir from The Immaculate Conception Shrine Basilica in Washington, D.C.(Part of The Ukrainian Archeparchy of Philadelphia & the RC Archdiocese of Washington, D.C.). And Byzantine Rite Tradition forgoes the use of Musical Instruments so all you hear is live a Capella.
I believe that the Upcoming Sunday Mass will be a Divine Liturgy in the Byzantine Rite Catholic Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom.
I need it to fight “The Good Fight”, as St. Paul puts it.

20 MarSince as I remember the “Danger ous 1990s”, when in 1991, with the Assistance of The Dinkins Administration & Ancient Order Of Hibernians Manhattan Division 7, a crew of Quares came into The Saint Patrick’s Day Parade, chanting “We’re Here, We’re Queer, We’re Irish, Get Used To It”, it was only a matter of time before this became The New Practice. I didn’t have ANYTHING to do with this Parade until Y2K.
In Ireland, a Formerly Catholic Nation, the Term called “Quare” means Odd. It is also to signify that one is “Fey” or “Gay.” And in the United Kingdom Of Great Britain & Northern Ireland, “Gay” means “Rubbish.” For “Gay” in the USA AND CANADA means Homosexual.
Fegula is a Latin Word for Homosexual, under the nasty sounding word “Faggot”, a word meaning simply “A Bunch Of Sticks.” The British & Irish smoke what are called “Fags”, which actually are called Cigarettes, a variation of Cigars or “Smoking Sticks.”
The Parade remained relatively Irish Catholic after The 1991 Parade, but there was a Case before the Supreme Court Of The United States of America, whose ruling stated that a Private Group has the Right to choose who they wish to associate with. This covered the Boston & New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parades. This was in 1995. In 1995, the National Ancient Order Of Hibernians ordered the Local & State AOH Groups to set up a corporation to run their local parades as Lawsuits by Homosexual Organizations were taking a grave toll via these lawsuits. Hence, The NYC St Patrick’s Day Parade Committee Inc was founded to run the Parade annually.
Did I NOT say that The 1990s were a Dangerous Time for The Parade? Yes, I did say that and it did prove to be that.
It was in 2014 that Guinness PLC & Heineken, withdrew their Sponsorships until Gay Groups were allowed to march under their own banners. In 2015, Out@NBCUniversal marched under their own banner. In 2016, through the Intervention of Politicians, both Civil & Ecclesiastical(Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan, & Pope Francis I), Mayor Bill Di Blasio & Former US Ambassador to The Northern Ireland Peace Accord, Former US Senator George Kilroy Mitchell, the Group, Lavender & Green, joined The Fray.
In The Words of My Most Dear Friend, which I am adopting for 2017, “I Am So Done With This Parade.”
And, for once, I wholeheartedly agree with Mike Voris. This Parade isn’t the Least Bit Catholic, as it has become a Secular Humanist “Mardi Gras”, in exchange for Beer Sponsors.
From after the 1991 Parade until 2000, I wouldn’t have ANYTHING to do with the St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

I realise that The US Bishops as an Exercise in that Vatican II Practice called “Collegiality”, as a Group or “Hapless Bench”, are certainly NOT “In The Centre”, but, rather, Operatives of The Political Entity of Hillary Clinton & Barack Obama, something which I call the Demagogic Party, officially the Democratic Party of The United States of America(Just ask Cardinal Bravo, which a “Little Birdie Told Me”).

31 JanThe Roman Latin Church is in a Diocese called Brooklyn and the counties of Kings & Queens are covered by the RC Diocese Of Brooklyn. While The Metropolitan of The New York Province is Timothy Michael Cardinal Dolan, he is NOT The Ordinary of The RC Diocese Of Brooklyn. The Ordinary means the Bishop who has jurisdiction in his Diocese & as Ordinary, ordains Deacons & Priests under the Jurisdiction. He is the Primary Teacher of Faith in his Diocese, just as Cardinal Dolan has jurisdiction over the Boroughs of Manhattan, Bronx & Staten Island, as well as Counties North of NYC, such as Westchester, Putnam, Dutchess, Rockland, Orange, Ulster & Sullivan Counties.
New York City, like London & Rome, have more than One Diocese in the City. New York City is NOT exclusively MANHATTAN ISLAND. My(Brooklyn) Diocesan Bishop is the Most Reverend Nicholas Di Marzio(Who originally comes from Newark, NJ, a part of The New York-New Jersey-Connecticut Metropolitan Area).
Do NOT Blame Cardinal Dolan for everything which goes on in The 5 Boroughs. Only Three Boroughs are his Jurisdiction. The Matter of “The Star Wars Mess” is in the RC Diocese Of Brooklyn. This Farce is between Msgr Jamie Gigantiello, the Vicar For Development for The RC Diocese Of Brooklyn, as well as Pastor of St Bernard’s in Mill Basin, Brooklyn & The Most Reverend Nicholas Di Marzio.
The Reason I am saying Mess instead of Mass, is that The Mass is the Unbloody Re-presentation of The Sacrifice on Calvary, and it would hard to see this in this Elaborate Entertainment Spectacle. It reminds me of The NHL Joke of The 1970s, “I went to a Boxing Match & a Hockey Game broke out.” And one wonders if there was even a Valid Consecration in this Melee in Brooklyn. One wonders if these Parishioners even understand that The Mass is a Sacrifice. Or do they prefer “Circus Et Panem Maximus?”
For Tears began streaming at the start of Prayers at the 11:00AM Tridentine Latin Mass at St Agnes on E43rd Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. And it doubles my resolve to see to it that The Novus Ordo Mass be consigned to The Dustbin of History.

The Church Militant In The Byzantine Rite
22 JanMichael Voris is NO MATCH for the Ukrainian Greek Catholics in Manhattan’s East Village. If Voris ever got out of line with these Catholics, they would march on “The Warehouse In Detroit”, with lit torches. They would even be joined by Tridentine Latin Mass Communities, one on the East Side of Manhattan on East 43rd Street between Lexington Avenue and 3rd Avenue and the one on West 37th Street between Broadway and 7th Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. This Sight wouldn’t be pretty, especially the Chant of “S, S, P, X”.
Thanks to the Discombobuluted, Ever Loving MTA, with E Trains running Local over the F Line & A Trains running over the F Line, I eventually decided against the NO Mass & went to St. George Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in the East Village on E 7th Street between 2nd Avenue and 3rd Avenue for the Byzantine Rite Catholic Divine Liturgy Of St John Chrysostom. It was at 4:00PM in English. It was a Low Mass as there was no Cantor Available.
It was Sunday Before Theophany(Epiphany), as this Parish operates on the Julian Calendar(Yesterday was January 4th on the Julian Calendar). I did see some amici from Holy Innocents RC Church in Midtown Manhattan at this Divine Liturgy. Nouveau Tridentine Latin Mass Catholics, particularly the younger ones, will not hesitate to head to the Byzantine Rite Catholic Divine Liturgies. They do hesitate to head to the Novus Ordo Mass though.
The Divine Liturgy Of St John Chrysostom was offered by The Economos(Pastor) of St. George Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, the Very Reverend Fr Bernard Panzcuk, OSBM(Ordo Sancti Basilli Magni, or Order of St. Basil The Great), Fr Superior of The Order.
The Baptism Of The Lord was The Theme & so was the Descent Of The Holy Ghost in the form of A Dove. The Holy Ghost makes us Holy, as Does Christ having instituted The Eucharist just before He died on The Cross.But, thtough Baptism, we enter into Christ’s Life through Grace.

A Pope, The Magisterium & “Mr Mouthwash”
14 AprMatrimony is tied into The Eucharist. Violating the Bond of Matrimony through Divorce, does NOT mean that this Sacrament is dissolved. It cannot be dissolved. The Catholic Church, however, through Annulment, judges as to whether or not a Valid Marriage had occurred. One may not enter into a Civil “Second Marriage” as this would constitute Adultery & both parties under Church Law would be denied the Sacraments, particularly Holy Communion & Penance. This was called Excommunication when I was educated in the RC Diocese of Brooklyn. Divorce was unheard of when I was in Catholic School.
I had a Speech Therapist. A nice woman, she resided in Forest Hills Gardens in Queens. She was divorced with two sons. She was not Catholic. I think she was Lutheran. I asked my Mom about Divorce. Her answer was “That’s what Protestants do.” Annulment is NOT in Protestant Vocabulary. Nor is it in the Vocabulary of the Eastern Orthodox Churches. Divorce, sadly, is in both Protestant & Eastern Orthodox Faiths.
For Christ said that Marriage is Forever & Divorce is out of The Question, so Second Marriages were out of The Question.
Like “What Game On FOX is Pope Francis I watching?” He, from Observation, either doesn’t understand Doctriine, or disregards Doctrine completely. As the Utterly Liberaltastic Jorge Mario Cardinal Bergoglio, a person who was Divorced & Civilly Remarried in the RC Archdiocese of Buenos Aires, Argentina, often received Holy Communion with Cardinal Bergoglio’s Permission. He often visited Los Barrios(Slum Areas), where many people were married a few times, and authorized the giving of Holy Communion to these Multi Marrieds, who divorced and Civilly Remarried. It is contrary to Church Law and The Magisterium to do this but Bergoglio was a Disobedient Archbishop.
The Apple doesn’t fall far from the Tree. In his early goings as Pope Francis I, Bergoglio gave Telephone Permission to two women who were divorced/Civilly Remarried to receive Holy Communion. These are the only two women that anyone knows of. It may have occurred more times than what we know of the two women.
It is as if Rome is the New Buenos Aires. As there were two Synods, called “Synods On The Family”(More like “Synods Of Doom” as Christopher Ferrara calls them) in October, 2014 & 2015, called by Pope Francis I. His Intent is to Change Doctrine via the “Pastoral Route”, whereby the Law stays on the books but a new interpretation is given to that Law.
