But the Comfortable Weather Is beginning to come in. In short, it is Jacket Weather. And it feels good as the Mosquitos are not making their appearance.
Just last week, there was heat & it was rather uncomfortable. Even Air Conditioned Buses were a bit too warm.
It felt like The Summer That Would NOT Go Away. It was NOT unlike The Winter of 2014, that Winter had a Blizzard which arrived after a 60°F Day, which was during Super Bowl XLVIII. There was enough Snow to donate to the Sochi Winter Olympics from that Snap Blizzard.
The Fall Equinox, the point where the Sun passes over The Equator, brings us to the Realization that Winter is not far off & a New Year is Nigh. And, as it has occurred in the Fall of The Year in New York, The Pope is coming to New York. Blessed Paul VI came in October of 1965. St. John Paul II came in October, 1979 & October, 1995, while Pope Francis I comes here in a few days, as Fall has begun. Only Pope Benedict XVI has come in April, 2008.

September 11 & Byzantine Catholics

For those of you who are Ukrainian Greek Catholic and are on the Traditional Julian Calendar, tomorrow is The Feast & Fast of The Beheading of St. John The Baptist. It is a Day of Liturgy(Holy Day of Obligation) & a Day of Abstention From Meat. According to the Traditional Julian Calendar, September 11th on the Gregorian Calendar is August 29th on the Traditional Julian Calendar.

But, I doubt that any of you have forgotten Tuesday September 11th, 2001 when at 8:46 AM ET, a Plane was crashed into the North Tower at the World Trade Center Complex, followed by a second Plane crashing into the South Tower of The World Trade Center Complex at 9:03AM ET. The South Tower collapsed at 9:59AM ET, with the North Tower collapsing at 10:29AM ET.

Do this day as one of Prayer & Penance. Also do abstain from Meat. This is for all Catholics, East & West.

The Cooling Weather & The End Of Novus Ordo Silliness

I may be able to Enjoy going to both the Tridentine Latin Mass & Byzantine Catholic Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom, after the Horrible Heat & Humidity of Summer, 2015. Going to a “WYSISWYG” Novus Ordo Mass, complete with the “Simging” of “Utter Treacle”, which causes for long lines at the Vomitarium, is more than annoying. One is not awed nor inspired by “Gifts of Finest Wheat”, which is both Treacly and Ecumenical, as it is more a song about elements than of Sacrament.
“WYSIWYG” is a Computer Expression meaning “What You See Is What You Get”, and in “Novus Dis-Ordo Land”, you may come to a “Table Of Plenty” loaded with “Utter Schutte” & Way Too Much Treacle. However, it does bring about a lot of Snark Filled Writing, on Subjects ranging from Obama & Trump to the October “Schism On The Family”, a Statement Attributed to Michael J. Matt, which means that “Simon Censor Pro Bellum Voriscum” will see to it that I NEVER Comment on ChurchMilitant.com, offering a Defence of Fratrum Sacerdotus Sancte Pius Decca or SSPX, those 4 Letters constituting a Bad Word, never to be uttered in the Presence of “Dear Anchor”, nor Mrs Niles, nor the Gaggle Of Cub Reporters.

On One Sunday this Month, I may do a Byzantine Ruthenian Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom & SSPX TLM, so from the Rising of The Sun to its’ Setting, A Perfect offering To The Triune Godhead may be made for The Glory of The Lord. I have come to the conclusion that the Ordinary Form Mass(Novus Ordo)is fine for weekdays, but on Sundays, it is NOT Truly the Highest Form of Worship. It will fulfill one’s Sunday & Holy Day Obligation, but it does NOT truly show Catholicity.

And Sheerly Novus Ordo Catholics have the Least Catholic Knowledge of ANY Catholic, East or West. As that Ukrainian Greek Catholic Woman @ St. George Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church in Manhattan’s East Village, said about Communion A Mano(In The Hand), “We Are NOT Priests-Only Priests should handle The Lord.”

The Conversation After The Divine Liturgy

The Divine Liturgy Of St. John Chrysostom Is also The Holy Sacrifice Of The Mass, as we of The Roman/Latin Rite understand it. This runs very close to The Mass of St. Pius V. Both share a Root Liturgy, namely the Divine Liturgy Of St James The Apostle In Jerusalem. The Antiochian Rite Maronite Catholic Church offers this Liturgy.
And in the case of Heavy Duty Catholic Liturgy, whether it be Byzantine Rite or Traditional Roman Rite, Intelligent Discussion Ensues. Such is the case after the Divine Liturgy of The 14th Sunday After Pentecost on the Julian Calendar. This Heavy Duty Catholic Discussion is practically nonexistent after a Roman Rite NO Mass, also called the Ordinary Form or Novus Ordo, with the Initials NO for short, unless at a Morning Mass at Our Lady Queen Of Martyrs RC Church in Forest Hills, Queens, where My Most Dear Friend discusses Papal Matters or how poorly done the NO MASS is offered & How The NO MASS came to be, which is often Lively.
So, in the Spirit of Those Conversations of Many a Morning, I had a conversation with a Woman who I have spoken with before. She had spoken to me about the removal by The Vatican in regards to the FILIOQUE from the Nicene Creed(The Double Procession of The Holy Ghost from The Father & The Son, which is a Bone of Contention With the Eastern Orthodox Churches). She had spoken of WHY is The Vatican always making concessions with the Eastern Orthodox Churches, as the Eastern Orthodox Churches do not believe in The Immaculate Conception, nor the Primacy of The Papacy, but do control the System of Divorce. To me she had said “If You Dialogue With The Devil and Make Concessions to Satan, Satan will want more.” This Woman is apparently, No Ecumenist.
She also told me to pray for The Fatima Priest, Fr Nicholas Nightingale Gruner, who had died.

This leads into the Conversation on Our Lady Of Fatima, as I was told that Our Lady will appear for a 7th Time, with the case of the 100th Anniversary of The Miracle of The Sun in The Cova in Fatima, Portugal. There will be Peace if Russia is Consecrated to Mary’s Immaculate Heart, by The Pope In Union With all The Catholic Bishops throughout the World.
This Woman also spoke of Sancte Communion A Mano(In The Hand), a practice only known at the Novus Ordo Mass in The Roman Rite Catholic Church, for she said that Holy Communion should only be handled by Priests & Not Laity as the Priest’s Hands are Consecrated. She also said that WHEN Russia is Consecrated to Mary’s Immaculate Heart, practices such as Holy Communion In The Hand as well as the Novus Ordo Mass, will disappear.
As I do talk to Byzantine Rite Catholics, I find that they are TRULY The Church Militant. Ditto, the Same goes for Roman Rite Latin Mass Catholics.

The Wedding Feast & The Garment & The Kingdom Of God:(Holy Gospel According To St. Matthew)

The Wedding Feast Is The Kingdom Of God. Those who turned down the Feast, represent The Pharisees. The Others who accepted the Invitation are the Gentiles. One person showed up without a Wedding Feast Garment & got tossed out. This represents all of us Gentiles Minus Grace.

The Divine Liturgy of St John Chrysostom was sung by The Very Reverend Father Bernard Panzcuk. He was both Celebrant & Cantor.

It was NICE!

A ByzLat Weekend During Bellum Voriscum

In the Middle of what is called “Bellum VORIScum”, with “Simon The Magician”, who is the “Censor Pro Bellum VORIScum”, who as Magician, is charged with silencing potential critics who utilize the utterance of a “Four Letter Word”, SSPX, but “Graciously” utter their favorite, uncharitable 6 Letter word, that of SCHISM, I will be headed to Totally Catholic Church Liturgies this Weekend, NOT called “The NO.”
The “NO” is an abrieviation For the Missa Novus Ordo, where the Priest faces Populum & the Muzak may cause for rather lengthy lines at the Vomitarium(Waiting Times Vary from Parish to Parish). The Homilies are geared to Adults who may not even be Smarter Than A 5th Grader.

Hence, between the Utter Beauty and Banality, I opt for Beauty in the Chants of Byzantine & Gregorian and the Solemnity of both the Divine Liturgies of St. John Chrysostom & St. Pius V, offered by Priests offering “In Persona Christi”, Sacrifice to The Holy Trinity, as Reparation for our sins, as “Alter Christus.”

If I want a place with a Table, I will probably head to a Cafe’.

De Caffeinating At Starbucks

Lets put it this way-Starbucks Coffee is Strong Brew. Why is the Coffee rather strong? Consider WHERE The Founder of Starbucks is from & he is no Native of Seattle, WA.

Howard Schultz is a Native Of(Drum Roll please)………..Brooklyn, NY, where accents are strong and so must be the coffee, especially while waiting for the BMT on various El Platforms.

But, I wanted to cool off as it is brutally Humid in addition to 🔥 so must I write about it. And switched over to Decaf Frappes, which have refreshed me. This shall be a Decaffed Day.

And THAT Is Good, as it calmeth my nerves.

I have to be at a Barbeque, jointly sponsored by Ancient Order Of Hibernians Queens Division 14 & Morris Park Council Knights of Columbus #566, on The Lawn of Holy Child Jesus Leonard Center in Richmond Hill, Queens, Tomorrow from 1300 Hours EDT(1800 GMT) to 1700 EDT(2200 GMT).
It means that in the Name of Both Orders, I will have to be at the 1200 EDT Mass(1700 GMT).

I wonder just how many “Hymns” I will NOT be singing.
