DAD In Canada Is So Sad

26 Feb

This stands for “Doctor Assisted Dying”. Actualy it is Suicide Via Doctor. “Dr Kevorkian” comes to Canada.
Quebec was once such a Catholic Province. The Shrine Of Ste. Anne De Beaupre is in Quebec, just outside of Quebec City.
The Question is Does Anyone in La Belle Province have The Catholic Faith?
Ever since “The Winnepeg Declaration” in 1968, which the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops, declared their oppisition to Humanae Vitae, the Encyclical of Paul VI, one could actually say that The Roman Latin Church in Canada is in Schism, in defying The Eternal Teachings of One,Holy, Catholic & Apostolic Church, of Matrimony & Procreation. The Archbishops of Mobtreal & Toronto, both brothers born in Montreal, essentially led a Schism by defying Church Teaching, with others who followed them.
The Barren Wombs, The Lack of Children, The Loneliness, Abortion On Demand, leads to emptiness in Spirit & Mind.

All this plays on the Mind & Soul & a bizarre WANT to end it all. Notice the 1st Initials of Doctor Assisted Dying, and notice what it Spells.
DAD! Quite Ironic, isn’t it.

Frank Cavellaro Called This One Correctly, Eh!

23 Jan

Frank is Weather Forecaster for CBC Owned CBMT Channel 6 in Montreal & heard on CBME FM 88.5 FM in Montreal(104.7 FM In The West End of Montreal).  Since I have the Tune In Radio App for the Android Mobile Phone, I do tune in to CBC Radio One in Montreal.
Outside of WCBS Newsradio 880AM here in the 5 Boroughs, where “Traffic & Weather Together On The Eights” gives me the NYC Weather Forecast, and is rather reliable, Montreal is where I get the “Fore Forecast”, as I find that what occurs 36 to 48 Hours before in Montreal, is what occurs here in The Five Boroughs of NYC.
And Frank called this storm over 24 Hours Ago. It’s -4°C with 8 CM on the ground here.
Thanks, Frank!

Watching CBC News-The National & CBC News At 6

20 Jul

CBC News-The National was viewed with utmost clarity. CBC News Montreal At 6 was watched as well from a Cafe.
Only, I was nowhere near Montreal
but rather that cafe’ was on Queens Boulevard near Union Turnpike in Forest Hills. Yes, it is one of those ubiquitous Starbucks Locations.

CBC News The App is on my Android Mobile. So I was watching last evenings CBC News-The National, hosted by Mr David Common out of Toronto. I recall him as CBC’s UN Correspondent operating from New York City. I recall him doing a story from the Apple Store at East 59th Street and Fidth Avenue. I also recall him on CBC Radio One with the World Report, early in the morning.

CBC News Montreal At 6 is live, so I got to see Frank Cavallaro, doing the Weather for Montreal. I usually hear him on “Daybreak Montreal” on CBME FM 88.5 in the Early Morning.

It’s the Highly Improved CBC News App for Android, which works so much better on Android Lollipop(5.0.2), with an unlimited 4G LTE Connection.

It was almost as if I was in Montreal. My last time in Montreal was 1973. And CBC Television never looked this good.

Starbucks & Tim Horton’s

29 Jan

Tim Horton once played NHL Hockey in Toronto and New York. He opened a chain of Strong Coffee Shops in Ontario.
Starbucks is named for a work of fiction. Coffee at Starbucks is rather fancy.
Starbucks was founded by a kid, in Seattle, Washington, who came from the Canarsie, Section of Brooklyn NY.

And to Rex Murphy, the founder of Starbucks, grew up in Brooklyn. You got a problem with that, eh?

The Maritimes Are Facing The Brunt Of The Blizzard

28 Jan

Dear New York Metro Area:
With only a foot of Snow, you got off easy.
But New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland, well they are getting Walloped by this storm.
One wonders if this is a foretelling of what may occur at Super Bowl XLIX, score Wise.
About a Metre and One Half is expected in those areas.
New England got walloped today. Is this a sign that Belichik and Company will meet a Similar Fate?
The answer is Sunday at 6pm(7:30pm in Newfoundland)until the end of the game.
Meanwhile, New Yorkers got off easy.

The Era Of “Cord Cutting”

6 Jan

Who watches Traditional Television these days?
That Era is One of The Dinosaur, as Television can arrive via Mobile Device. Having watched “Imus In The Morning” on a Mobile Phone(Motorola Moto) a few years ago, before it was popular to watch without Cable Television Service, well those were experimental times.
The Experiment is over and now Reality has set in. Now Satellite Service Dish Network will be offering this over Mobile Devices. And it will be cheaper than Cable and Satellite. If DirecTV offers this, I may do the inexpensive package. No one will be tied to a Contract. And one will not be paying through the Nose. Your Mobile Phone or Tablet is your Television.
And it is about time. These Mobiles are Mobile Computers and Entertainment Centres on which one can view shows at your leisure and not when the Network tells you to. If ESPN is nationally carrying Major League Baseball, you can view it on a Mobile Device. CBS does this via App in regards to Prime Time Shows. There is also buying or renting from Google Play or iTunes.
On Amtrak to Boston, I viewed Pope Benedict at the World Trade Center Site, Live on MobiTV. I sometimes view CBC News The National via CBC News App. At the time of the Parliament Hill Massacre, I watched CBC News Live Coverage, Peter Mansbridge and All, Live for the 1st Time, as if I was in Montreal or Toronto or Vancouver, all from Home here in Queens over the Web.

Look! No Cables or Wires!

It Is -2°C In NYC & The Faith

18 Nov

It would be worse if it was -2°F, with the number even more mindblowing larger.
But, in NYC in November, it does begin to be cold. For that matter, as I do tune into CBC Radio One Montreal instead of The “Institute For The Intellectually Impaired”, known to me as Sports Radio WFAN, their Weather Forecasts somehow correspond to NYC(CBC Radio One and NOT “The Fan”).

This will be a good day to read about the Catholic Faith.

Deo Gratias!
